2. Cast Cult Mobile App

The Cast Cult mobile application includes features such as Lure Finder, Catch Log, My Patterns, Field Tips, and other fishing-related tools.

Information entered into the app may include species, lure or bait used, fishing conditions, catch details, notes, photos, and optional catch locations.

In the current version of the Cast Cult app, Catch Log information is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to Cast Cult servers.

3. Camera and Photo Library

The Cast Cult app may request access to your device's camera or photo library when you choose to add a photo to your Catch Log.

Camera and photo access is used only to allow you to capture or select images for app features that you choose to use.

Photos added to your Catch Log are currently stored locally with your app data and are not independently uploaded to Cast Cult servers.

You can manage camera and photo permissions through your device settings.

4. Location Information

The Cast Cult app may request access to your location when you choose to save location information with a catch.

Location access is optional. The app does not require you to save the location of your catches in order to use its primary fishing recommendation features.

In the current version of the app, saved catch locations are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to Cast Cult servers.

You can manage or disable location access at any time through your device settings.

5. Lure Finder and My Patterns

Information entered into Lure Finder is used to generate fishing recommendations based on the species, conditions, and other information you provide.

My Patterns uses information stored in your Catch Log to identify fishing trends and patterns based on your previous catches.

In the current version of the app, these features operate using information available within the application and do not require Cast Cult to maintain a cloud-based profile of your fishing activity.

6. How We Use Information

Information collected through our website or Services may be used to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve Cast Cult products and services
• Process and fulfill purchases
• Respond to questions, support requests, or other inquiries
• Send newsletters, marketing communications, or other information when you have chosen to receive them

Catch Log information in the current version of the Cast Cult mobile app is stored locally on your device.

You can delete individual catches through the app. Removing the Cast Cult app from your device may also remove locally stored app information.

Because locally stored information may be lost if the app is removed, your device is lost or damaged, or app data is otherwise erased, you should not rely on Cast Cult as the sole permanent backup for important photos or fishing records.

11. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information handled through our Services from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure.

However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
